Bearnabas Bear and his friends have been beary busy this summer. Last month 50 bears were prayed over and taken to children’s homes, new Christians and a leper colony in China. The TEDDYBEAR verses and the YOU ARE NOT ALONE poem were translated into their language and attached to each cuddly friend. I have a couple of pictures below, more will be posted on the website as soon as I receive them.

Bearnabas and his friends were included in packages of food, clothing, hygiene items and other needed supplies.

This month Bearnabas will be traveling to Poland to the Dom Dziecka Children’s home. It is located in an old castle. Volunteers will be building a safe playground for the children.

While the people of the leper colony may be “put away” from the world and the children in the orphanage have no “family” they are all children of the living God. God loves and cares for them. Jesus is preparing a place for them in heaven where they will live in homes built on streets of gold. They will no longer need the teddy bear for their hugs, they will have the arms of Jesus Christ wrapped around them.
