Jesus tells us to have faith like a little child. Watch a child at Christmas as they believe Santa will bring loads of toys to their house. Or play the game “I stole your nose” with a young child, and even though they can touch their nose, they believe you really took it!!!
Matthew 8 tells us of the faith of the centurion who told Jesus he believed that Jesus had only to say the word, he didn’t have to go to this home, just His word would be enough to know his son would be healed.

We tell our children to believe in the tooth fairy, then we tell them she is not real. We tell our children to believe in Santa Claus, then we tell them he is not real. We tell our children to believe in the Easter Bunny, then we tell them he is not real.
We tell our children to believe in Jesus……… why won’t they believe that he is real ?

I was encouraged today as I read something I’d like to share with you that you also may be encouraged:
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God . . .so that in all things God may be glorified.

This little article talked about the 70’s cartoon show called the Super Friends including Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, etc. working together to battle the forces of evil. As they worked together they were stronger–so are we. As we serve each other, the church and the community God is glorified. This only happens as we are committed to each other. Remember the Super Friends save the world together as a team–so we should work together to share with the world so they can be saved. We must do together what we can’t do alone.
