God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar {and} foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. Psalm 46:1-5
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29
Hello, how are you?
When you ask someone this question do you really want to know or you just being polite? I started noticing how often we ask the question as we are walking past, not even slowing down our walking pace? What if I wanted to tell you how I was? How can I, you are already half a block away.
When you speak with someone, look them in the eye and let show that you do truly care when you ask ‘how are you’.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Romans 12:15
Bear one another’s burdens. Galatians 6:2
I enjoyed the audiobook of Jerry Jenkins story “Though None Go With Me”. Hallmark has now made a TV movie based on the story.
Each day we are faced with decisions. Getting out of bed is a decision, eating or not eating breakfast, helping or passing by the man on the street corner asking for food. The story follows the life of Elizabeth Grace LeRoy and the many decisions faced daily in her life.
Inspiring and encouraging, I pray I can live my life for Christ “though none go with me”.
