I recently attended a conference where I was heard a wonderful speaker, Fawn Brents. I purchased a CD from one of her talks titled “The Chocolate Chip Cookie Talk”. Here she explains how we can teach our children the Word of God from simple daily activities, including making chocolate chip cookies. If you’d like more information on the CD you can contact her via email at fawn@fawnsellshomes.com .
She will soon have her own website set up, but until then the email is her best contact. Fawn is an excellent speaker and demonstrates easy to apply life lessons that are beary encouraging.

If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
Romans 12:8
Bearnabas Bear is packing his bags to join two mission trips. One to Poland and another to S.E. Asia. The TEDDY BEAR verses and the poem YOU ARE NOT ALONE are being translated for both trips. You can sponsor a bear.
If you like your picture with the sponsored bear can be sent and you will receive back a picture of the recipient holding the bear. What a simple way to “bear witness of the Light that all may believe”. (see John 1:7)
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.

Matt 26:41 PRAY
Mark 14:38 PRAY
Luke 22:40 PRAY
Like 22:46 PRAY
There appears to be a pattern here. In each scene Christ tells the disciples to “pray so that you will not fall into temptation”.
I started wondering about how I am tempted. Temptation occurs when my focus is not on Christ. So how do I keep my focus on Christ? Pray, pray, pray.
Deny ungodliness and worldly desires. Live sensibly, righteous and godly. Titus 2:12
Accept one another, just as Christ also accepted you to the glory of God. Romans 15:7
Don’t let those who trust in you stumble because of me, O Lord. Don’t let me cause them to be humiliated.
Psalm 69:6
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.
Rev 21:23-24
So if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
