God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom.  I Cor 1:13

July 4 is a day we celebrate as our country’s day of freedom. Families gather for BBQ and games, fireworks explode all over. We celebrate a declaration of independence men fought and died for many years ago so that we may live and enjoy it today.

Christ died on a cross over 2000 years ago so that we may experience freedom from sin and enjoy heaven after life here on earth has ended. 

Why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. And someday, just as you saw him go, he will return! Acts 1:11      Look, up in the sky, it is fireworks, it is superman, it is J E S U S.
