Be responsive to your pastoral leaders. Listen to their counsel. They are alert to the condition of your lives and work under the strict supervision of God. Contribute to the joy of their leadership, not its drudgery. Why would you want to make things harder for them?     Heb 13:7 MSG

While grocery shopping the other day I watched and listened to other shoppers. Many were preparing to get together to watch their favorite football team in action.  They got the food ready, bought shirts to root on the team and prepared for an exciting 2 or 3 hours.

Do you show the same enthusiasm for your preacher and your time in church as you do for the football game?” SHOUT TO THE LORD all the earth.”  Psalm 100:1 NAS

Next time you prepare for church, plan for an exciting time with the Lord. Be His cheerleader!!  And cheer your pastor on as well.
