Bearemy Bear joined us as we went in to see the IMAX 3D showing of Superman Returns.

I nudged my husband several times through the movie and thought I was seeing gospel references starting with a voiceover of his father talking about the humans and that he was “sending them his only son”.  I won’t tell more so as not to spoil it for anyone but I was excited to read the article on the movie at Crosswalk dot com.

I enjoyed the movie. One thing caught my attention, there was not one curse word spoken.  At least none caught my attention, there were a couple of times I waited expecting one to be blurted out.  I cannot say with 100% certainty there wasn’t any, only that I never noticed one. We plan to see it again, I want to be sure. There were several families in the theater, one particular scene was upsetting to a young child who cried out he didn’t like it.

All in all it was a good movie. Like most films some of the fight scenes were too long for my enjoyment, and I felt the end could have come sooner than it did. I was disappointed in the 3D scenes, there were too few.
