I found an interesting post about a teddy bear that was sent by a group of school children to Iraq to serve alongside a soldier.

No matter what your views about the war, this shows a simple expression of love and concern.  If you read the comments you will see people who have used the post as an opportunity to war blast.  I am recommending the link for the travels of the teddy bear.
